H&M bra size guide
H&M's band size isn't your raw underbust measurement — it's calculated using the classic +5/+6 inch method. That's a genuinely different approach from EU brands that use your underbust in cm directly.
How the band number is calculated
Measure snugly underbust in inches. If that number is odd, add 5 inches to get your band size; if it's even, add 6 inches. For example, a 29 in underbust (odd) becomes a size 34 band; a 30 in underbust (even) also becomes a 36 band. This "+4/+5" style method is an older convention still used by a number of retailers, and it produces a noticeably larger band number than your raw underbust measurement.
