Zara size guide

Zara uses EU sizing and generally runs small — especially in fitted trousers, blazers and dresses. Which collection an item belongs to changes how much it runs small by.

Where sizing runs smallest

The tightest fit is consistently reported in structured, fitted pieces: trousers and jeans (especially high-rise or rigid denim), blazers and coats through the shoulder and chest, and fitted tops and dresses. Knitwear, stretch basics and oversized styles tend to run closer to true size or even generous.

Zara's own product pages list the garment measurements for each item — those numbers are more reliable than the label size, since the same "M" can fit differently across TRF, Basic and Woman. If you're between sizes or shopping something fitted, sizing up one is the commonly recommended default.
