Will a 43 inch TV fit in my car?
Usually yes — even in many small cars. The box is roughly 105 × 70 × 15 cm. Two measurements decide it.
The numbers
| Item | Approx. size |
|---|---|
| 43″ screen only | 95.2 × 53.5 cm |
| 43″ TV in its box | ≈ 105 × 70 × 15 cm |
| Box length needed | ≈ 105 cm (41 in) |
| Opening height needed (upright) | ≈ 70 cm (28 in) |
Measure these two things
1. The opening, not just the space. The box has to pass through the boot or door opening. Measure the opening’s width and height — for a 43″ TV you need roughly 70 cm of height to get it in upright. A long enough load floor is useless if the opening is too small.
2. The length with the seats folded. Measure from the tailgate to the back of the front seats. You need about 105 cm, plus a little room to tilt it in.
A 43″ box is the one size that often works in a saloon or small car: with the back seat free, it can stand upright behind the front seats. Measure the rear door opening first — the box is about 70 cm tall.

| 65″ | 160 × 95 × 20 cm | Needs a large SUV, MPV or estate |
| 75″ | 180 × 105 × 22 cm | Usually needs a van or large SUV |

Usually yes — even in many small cars. The box is about 105 × 70 × 15 cm and should travel upright.
How big is a 43 inch TV box?
Roughly 105 × 70 × 15 cm (length × height × depth). The exact size depends on brand and stand; check the retailer’s listing.
How big is a 43 inch TV screen?
About 95.2 × 53.5 cm for a 16:9 screen — the 43 inches is the diagonal.
Can I lay a TV flat in the car?
Manufacturers advise against it — large panels can crack from vibration and flex when flat. Transport it upright, padded.
